Are you getting what you deserve financially out of life? No? Perhaps you fall into one of the following categories of the financially frustrated.
Imagine you work so hard each day and get ready to approach your boss for an increase. Or you see a new employee come into the office and you hear that they make more money that you do and you both are on the same level of education or work duties. Better yet, you send out a ton of resumes and finally get a job interview and sit in disbelief about the salary offered for the amount of work required. How about stepping out and starting your own business? How is that working for you? People not paying on time, clients trying to get your price down to nothing, and more stress than you had when you worked 9 to 5. And what about selling multi level products? How is the nutrition, coffee, make up and such going for you? Are you getting the number of clients to buy your product or sign up for your downline as you thought you would when you made the initial sales pitch?
So what are you going to do about it?
How do you get to a place where you are getting what you deserve? It is a very hard decision to step away from being a victim of the world’s opinion of your worth. It takes courage to say that even though I am not pleased with what is going on right now, I am going to see with new eyes a new way for myself. Again, it is tough to let go of feeling afraid that your bills will not be covered and that your career is stalled. It is rough to consider that your peers are moving ahead in life, buying houses, new cars and just being generally successful and your are not. Everywhere you look you see signs of success and you feel left out, left behind. And then the fear turns to anger because the bills don’t stop just because you are not earning what you are worth. So you don’t have time to save, invest or listen to any financial person chat because you simply don’t have it!
Because you are not earning what you deserve, what you thought you should at this stage of your life not happening so what you do have is fear, anger, anxiety, stress and frustration.
So again, how do you get to a place where you are getting what you deserve? How does your money feel better?
The first thing is to stop comparing yourself to others. I know it’s hard. For me it’s a daily work in progress. You have to recognize that we all move at different paces and have different talents so the results must be different. Your job right now is to find the pathway to your profits. You need to discover what will get to the place where you will get what you deserve. The first clue is to find your joy.
According to superstar life coach Tony Robbins, the key to getting what you deserve is to find a person that is doing what you want to do and copy them. My good friend Alicia Lyttle of Internet Income Jamaica always says, “success leaves traces.”
So based on the Tony Robbins/Alicia Lyttle method of getting what you deserve, use these three strategies.
Secret #1: The surest way to achieve success is to model someone who is already successful. If you don’t have good models, find someone who is the best in your chosen field and emulate them. You don’t need to reinvent the wheel – simply learn from the best.
Secret #2: Ask someone who can help you. Whatever you want in life, someone has already discovered how to get it — and you want to figure out what they are doing right. Someone can likely save you time and pain with the knowledge they’ve gained in their own experiences, but understand that their time is valuable. First, figure out how you can help them, add value to their life, and then they will be more likely to help you.
Secret #3: Success leaves clues. People who succeed consistently are not lucky; they’re doing something different than anyone else. They have a strategy that works, and if you follow their strategy and you sow the same seeds, then you’ll reap the same rewards.
So you don’t have to go through the misery alone. Step away from the stress and reach out to people who can help. Find a model of success that you like. Talk to your pastor, a counselor, a life coach, a financial coach. These are people that can help you reach to your highest and best. And then one day, you will get what you deserve. What you have planned to get and not be a victim of cruel fate.
